Architectural grade, structural retaining wall drain components are designed to hide exposed drain pipes in large and small, residential and commercial retaining walls while providing optimum egress of water flow (weeping).
   
Wall Drains can also be used on barbecue islands, outdoor kitchens, fire pits and other applications to complete a pleasing, continuous wall face without the unsightly interruptions of intermittent drains or air vents.

  • INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
  • Bend side tabs outward and fit to lock against neighboring wall blocks. Optional: Run a bead of adhesive across the holes on the top and bottom flange. Place drain into wall geometry same as an actual block on first course at ground level. Place drainpipe or aggregate against back of drain, filling all voids. Not to be used with roof drains as solids may cause clogging.

The decorative drain cover helps the end of the drain pipe blend into the wall.  I'm super happy with the look of it.  I used a rubber hammer to tap it into place,and it fit snugly.  We've had some rains and it has stayed in place.  Love this!  After spending the money to build a retaining wall, why not make it look nice?
